Making a Drawing

Is it mid-winter?
Are you oddly nostalgic for the last warmth of a long sunny evening?
Well yes so am I. It won’t last, summer is the devil - I got sunburnt in the middle of winter, the sun is not my friend.

So I made a series of three drawings called “Miles Away”. I’ve got the making of the final drawing “In the Rock Pools” for you to have a peep at today. I’m very pleased to say that these drawings will be in the drawings show at the Kumeu Arts Centre later this month, in the Drawn In show! Come down if you’re in the area to see some great art from lots of local artists in the new Pod Gallery, and of course the chance to see the whole “Miles Away” series!
